Returns policy

In short

• Personalised prints (with a name printed at your request) cannot be returned, except for printing defects or transport damage.
• Standard prints can be returned within 14 days of receipt, without giving a reason.
• Any printing defect or transport damage is resolved free of charge: we reprint the print or refund you.

1. Printing defects and transport damage

If the print arrives creased, torn, stained or with a printing error (for example a name printed differently from the one entered in the order), write to contact@giclee.ai with the order number and clear photos of the print and the packaging.

Please tell us as soon as possible, ideally within 7 days of receipt, so we can claim against the courier. Your rights under the legal guarantee of conformity nevertheless remain valid for 2 years from delivery, under Government Emergency Ordinance no. 140/2021.

Once confirmed, we reprint and send the print at our cost or, if you prefer, refund the price. You do not pay for returning a damaged print.

2. Personalised prints

Under art. 16(c) of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to personalised goods. A print with a name on it is made only for you and cannot be resold.

Exception: printing defects and transport damage, covered in section 1.

3. Standard prints: 14-day right of withdrawal

For prints without personalisation you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receipt, without giving a reason.

How to proceed:

1. Send us your decision to withdraw at contact@giclee.ai within the 14 days. You may use the form below, but it is not mandatory.
2. Send the print back within 14 days of informing us, to: Șos. București-Târgoviște nr. 219, bl. 1, et. 2, ap. 206, com. Mogoșoaia, jud. Ilfov, 077135.
3. You bear the cost of return shipping.
4. We refund all amounts received, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of being informed of your decision. We may withhold the refund until we receive the print or proof that it was sent, whichever comes first. The refund uses the same payment method.

The print must be returned unframed, without traces of glue, writing or mounting, in its shipping packaging or equivalent protective packaging. You are liable for any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature and characteristics.
